And, we’re done
So, five days of residency have gone whipping by.
We’ve laughed, we’ve cried. We’ve detoxed from chronic cell phone dependency, but, with a strong enough internet signal, have leeched the benefits of Hulu.
This residency was largely about writing, which, in the city–with all its distractions and obligations–is difficult to do with any concentrated stretch of time.
The work is taking shape, and we’re excited to get back into the city, and back into rehearsals.
As promised (although, a day late), here are some pictures with people in them.
Thanks again to Aynsley and Mat for creating this indispensable resource and residence!
We hope as many of you as possible will be able to make it up here in August (20th and 21st) to catch a little of the Scarlet Fever…
First, breakfast:

Here’s the gorge studio that Mt. Tremper Arts built:

Getting some last-minute work done. (Seriously, no make up on that face):

Chris showing off her guns:

And finally, some Scarlet Shades we picked up at ye olde Woodstock flea market (I can’t remember what it’s real name is, but their slogan is, “If it’s Wednesday…it’s Woodstock!):
